HODGES Development, on behalf of Huffines Communities and Estein & Associates USA, has begun development & construction of the new Heartland Town Square component of the very successful Heartland master planned community in Mesquite, Texas.
The project, located at the SE corner of I-20 and FM 741, will total approximately 150,000 SF with the first phase comprised of three retail buildings totaling just under 30,000 SF. The three buildings surround a town green with several outdoor dining areas, a large screen for movies in the park, and play sculptures to serve the approximately 15,000 residents who call Heartland home and over 100,000 customers within a 7-minute drive.

Leasing for the retail area is handled by the Andrew Lehner team at CBRE Dallas.
The project was designed by HODGES Architecture, which has designed 46 million SF of retail, cinemas & entertainment in 36 states.

Construction is underway, with the first tenants to arrive in the spring of 2025.
