HODGES DESIGNS 80K SF ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX

Hodges Architecture’s design for the new Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille concept is now under construction in the Bryan College Station market. The 80,000-square-foot entertainment juggernaut has five theatres, 28 lanes of bowling, a 10,000-square-foot arcade, and an “Only Sons Brewery.” Adjacent is an outdoor concert and event space with six indoor pickleball courts.

“The Schulman’s MBG flagship is the largest family entertainment center we have ever designed.  It will be a major regional pull to the Midtown Park campus in Bryan, which includes Top-Golf, the Legends Athletic and Events Center, a future hotel, and the Texas A&M Racquet Complex.  What a spectacular location for this new entertainment anchor that truly pushes the envelope for entertainment design.” Said Charles Hodges, of Hodges Architecture, whose firm has designed cinemas and family entertainment centers across America.

The new MBG incorporates bowling on two levels, a gaming bar and brewery on the second level, and outdoor decks overlooking the 19-acre lake and boardwalk.

“Currently under construction is an entertainment destination unlike any other. The creative design and unique integration of multiple entertainment choices were achieved by the joint collaboration with Hodges Architecture, a Dallas-based firm. SMBG-Bryan, besides the offering of traditional entertainment venues it will feature new state-of-the-art amenities such as two levels of Bowling, Indoor & Outdoor Pickleball, Only Sons Brewery, Billy’s Grille & Bar; a full-service restaurant venue as well as outdoor activities featuring live music and more. The facility is scheduled to open in spring 2025 as Texas-sized entertainment in Bryan-College Station, TX!” Said Mark Schulman, President of Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille
